An integral component of that growth is the child’s community — be it their home and family or their school and education team. The therapists at Developmental Therapy Services of Sacramento realize that it takes a team to facilitate the growth of a child.
This business offers clinic-based, school-based, and in-home therapy intervention in the greater Sacramento area. The primary focus of this agency is to provide services in the child’s natural environment. The services include, but are not limited to:
- Occupational/Speech/Feeding therapy evaluations
- Screens
- Consultations
- Co-Treatments/Collaboration
- Therapeutic intervention
- Parent/teacher training, education
- Professional recommendations
Children being served under the contract of public-school districts will follow the IEP procedures and are served after the school district has determined eligibility. Clinic-based services will be provided under contract with school districts, Alta California Regional Center, insurance companies, or private-pay.
The primary focus of this agency is to utilize a developmental and sensorimotor approach to serve children with delays in the areas of: fine motor, sensory processing, gross motor, visual perceptual, visual motor/penmanship, emotional control/executive functioning, speech and language, feeding, and self-care.
Our therapists have an extensive background, knowledge, supervision, and training. Each therapist is licensed by the state of California and holds a certificate from their accredited board. They have experience working in homes, schools, hospitals, and private clinics. Their client base includes early intervention (0-3 years), school-based (3 to 18 years), home health, outpatient and private clinic services.
Careers at DTS
We are a pediatric company that serves children at school and at our private clinic. The positions are full-time with flexible hours to start. The primary caseload would be school-based with the potential for clinic or in-home-based work as well, but the hours would be split between settings based on need.
